The nearest parking lot can be used.

For the guests by public transportation, we have pick up service between the hotel and the nearest bus stop, “Hasuike”. Please contact us on the reservation and on your arrival at the bus stop.
For the guests by car, there is a large free parking lot near the hotel.

Three skiing grounds of Giant, Buna and Nishidateyama meet at Shigayama hot spring area.
Making a connection of two ski lifts, You can get to the top of Mt. Nishiudateyama.
The view from the top is so wonderful that you will take time before skiing down.

From the top, you can see the approach to Takamagahara and Ichinose area against the Giant skiing ground.

The slope to Takamagahara is gentle and good for beginners lesson.

The beginners course crosses the experts course on the way to the bottom.
Giant skiing ground and Maruike area are seen to the front Passing by a restaurant and skiing down on another slope, you will come back to the base.

In May, various edible mountain plants sprout one after another among the remaining snow. These plants have been loved by the villagers for a long time, and developed into many kinds of dishes. Why don’t you try the tastes and flavors a little different from the ordinary foods?

Shigayama hot spring area has a large, free parking lot. In high season, attendants are stationed to help the drivers.

In the beginning of June, azaleas come to the full flower around the lake, “Ichinuma”. the first marsh, because it is the first lake along the road to Shigakogen. Azaleas in June and colored leaves in October attract many photographers around the lake. A few minutes’ walk from “Ichinuma” takes you to the second largest lake in Shigakogen, “Biwaike”. There is a trail around “Biwaike”. The trail is nice for basking in the woods in green season.

In Shigakogen, there are many trekking courses and climbing trails You can enjoy walking lightly.

Skiing down on the slope of the Giant Ski Ground, you see our hotel, Aspen Shiga just in front. Restaurant Aspen in it serves lunch and tea. Our homemade bread is popular among skiers.

Aspen Shiga cooks special home made apple pies only in winter season.
They win the fame among skiers. Apples come fresh from local organic farmers.
